The Dixon Gallery and Gardens combines its permanent art collection and visiting exhibits with a well-tended garden. The gallery specializes in Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings and decorative arts, with over 2000 pieces.
The gardens contain numerous walking paths through flower beds and wooded areas, as well as a conservatory, a pavillion, and an outdoor stage.
The Dixon hosts an Afterschool Art Club program for kids ages 11-15, and a parent/child (ages 2-4) Mini Masters art workshop on Tuesdays at 10:30am. Admission is free Saturdays from 10am to noon. Groups of 10 or more receive discounted admission of $5 each. School groups can visit for free with advance registration.

getting there:
From Interstate 240, take exit 20-B, Getwell Road North. Drive approximately 2.5 miles to Park Avenue and then turn right. Proceed to the 2nd traffic light. The gallery entrance is on the right at the traffic light.
