Downtown Babies offers parenting education, creative play programs, and social events. Educational play and music classes for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers include Mommy & Me" classes open to children ages three months to three years; kids ages four and five can brave the world of imaginative play, music, and movement all by themselves! Each 45-minute class follows local and cultural themes designed to stimulate a child's mind through interactive stories, songs, dance, puppet play, yoga, and more. Classes are held at various locations throughout Lower Manhattan (Doodle Doo's, McBurney YMCA, Leshem Loft, Moving Visions' Murray Street Studio, The Soundings in Battery Park City, East Yoga), Brooklyn (Pomme, The Moxie Spot), and at The Art Farm in Bridgehampton.
