Downtown Family YMCA050

The Downtown Family YMCA was built in 1968 and was most recently renovated in 2005. It offers two gymnasiums, a climbing wall, locker rooms, a teen and family activity center, a youth activity center, cardio equipment, Technogym, Keiser, and Cybex equipment, free weights, three racquetball courts, a multipurpose room, a 25-yard lap pool with six lanes, a recreational pool, a children's pool with a slide and toys, and a spa. A drop-in nursery is available for kids from six weeks to six years old.

Youth classes and programming at the Y include Teen Nights, climbing, swimming (including parent/tot classes), spinning, yoga, martial arts, strength training, and personal training.

Many programs are included in the price of membership. Visit the website for pricing on joining fees and monthly fees for the YMCA. Assistance is available for those who need it; no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
