The Downwind cites terrific burgers as its claim to fame, but kids will be mesmerized by the view from the deck and atrium overlooking the runways of the Dekalb Peachtree Airport. It's dining heaven for kids with an affinity for airplanes. The entire restaurant is smoke-free, and the American-style menu features kids' selections. Again, burgers reign supreme here, but you can also find seafood, sandwiches, salads and four specials a day. Children's birthday parties: Offered on Saturday mornings from 10:30am-12n. Parties are inclusive of all food and entertainment (the planes). Call for more details.
