The Doylestown District Center Library is a branch of the Bucks County Free Library system. The Bucks County Free Library Card, which can be obtained at the circulation desk, provides users with free access to a huge variety of resources and collections from local libraries as well as from libraries around Pennsylvania.

The Doylestown Library Center hosts ongoing storytimes for preschoolers, summer reading programs, and regularly participates in First Friday Doylestown, a monthly celebration of the arts held throughout the downtown Doylestown area.
