Just got back from my 1st visit from Dr. Morshed's office. I had an AMAZING experience. It's actually across the street from my work so it was a quick walk over. Their staff is so helpful and informative with great personalities. Definitely made the right choice when looking for a local dentist for my cleaning:)

I had colleagues who had been to Dr Bobak Morshed and had recommended him. I hadn't even had a checkup for a long time, but I was forced to find a dentist quickly when my teeth were damaged playing soccer. I had been to see an Endodontist first (which was an extremely traumatic experience) to have my front three teeth root canal treated after the damage, and had a series of appointments with Dr Morshed to restore the appearance of my smile.

Dr Morshed takes such good care of making you feel at ease and comfortable. I had never had any kind of major dentistry done before, and as I mentioned, my experience with the Endodentistry was painful and traumatic. Dr Morshed takes special care to make sure you are completely numbed with a topical gel before they go in with the big scary needles.

Barbara in the office was really helpful at explaining the whole process and, most importantly, planning my appointments over the end of last year and beginning of this year, so I could make the most out of my annual insurance coverage. It was still kind of expensive, but as another reviewer mentioned, dentistry is not something you want to skimp on. I now have a smile that is even more beautiful than it was before the accident. I'll recommend Dr Morshed to anyone who wants a kind and skilled dentist.

Dr. Morshed and the staff that work in his office are wonderful. I trust him completely. Even though I have left Santa Monica and it sometimes takes me 45 minutes to get to/from his office, it's worth the drive. I saw another dentist (when my insurance didn't cover Dr. Morshed) who filled my cavity and the filling fell out 3x in less than 2 months. As soon as I switched jobs and was covered with Dr. Morshed, I went back to him (I couldn't wait) for the filling. Dr. Morshed fixed it and it hasn't fallen out in over a year. So, he is definitely a cut (no pun intended) above the rest.

Dr. Bobak Morshed did a fabulous job on my new veneers. I had fake-looking bondings for most of my life and was always ashamed to smile. My friend told me about Dr. Morshed and his office. He had been going to see Dr. Morshed and his parents who are also dentists ever since he was a kid. He highly recommended their office and now I see why. Dr. Morshed did new veneers for me and they look perfect. But they also look natural and not like those fake looking teeth that so many people have. My new veneers also feel like normal teeth. I also had some of my old silver fillings replaced and now my whole mouth looks great. All the doctors and nurses at Dr. Morshed's office are friendly and I always feel like I am getting the best care every time I go there. I highly recommend this office.

My family and I have recently become patients of Dr. Morshed after moving to Santa Monica. His office was recommended to us by two different friends. This office is truely exceptional. The doctor and his staff seem dedicated to taking the best care of all of us. My husband told me that for the first time in his life he actually trusts his dentist. And my children can't wait until their next visit to Dr. Morshed's office.

The procedure was fast and painless. He also made great temporary teeth for me that looked much better than my teeth before the veneers. I had a consultation with this guy. It is abundantly clear that he values cash over providing quality care. AVOID THIS OFFICE. After waiting about 20 minutes, Dr. Bobak Morshed finally showed up to discuss my teeth (whitening). This guy was obviously double-booked, as he seemed in a hurry to get me to sign a treatment plan and be on my way. He immediately tried pushing veneers on me (my teeth are great - I just wanted whitening), and refused to let up that "I needed veneers, period." Bobak Morshed was not concerned AT ALL with my own concerns or health. After flat out telling him - several times - that I was ***not*** interested in veneers, only whitening, he said "You'll regret your decision, but it's your mouth." He then sent in an assistant to get me to sign. "It's fine, just sign the treatment plan and we can get you in." SERIOUSLY?!?! He might as well have said "No questions, pay now. I know what's best" To say Dr. Bobak Morshed is 'in it for the money' is an understatement. He over-treats and under-listens. I honestly believe this guy would have his license taken away if a state rep saw how he treated my questions with his "Just sign, we take visa" attitude.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE BUTCHER! Dr. Morshed is a filthy individual who ruined my teeth and left a trail of destruction in my mouth which is not yet repaired.

If after reading about Dr. Bobak Morshed in the public information which is available, the only conclusion to come to is STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE BUTCHER! Dr. Morshed is a filthy individual who ruined my teeth and left a trail of destruction in my mouth which is not yet repaired. He should have never put in a temporary bridge where I recently had root canal from a different dentist, thank God. I had complained to him about the pain which he dismissed and went right on hurting me. He also was supposed to make an impression for the front crown that had broken and give me an immediate temporary. On the June 3, 2010 visit to his lair, he insisted he could do the permanent crown on this "new machine" he purchased for just that purpose. When I told him I don't feel confident or at ease with that machine he bullied me and simply had his way with me because he was shooting full of numbing medication. He also "decided" he was going to laser some area of my mouth because he "actually should not have started" was the exact words he used BEFORE checking if I had periodontal disease. When he finished the laser, I was in so much pain I began to cry. He told me it "shouldn't hurt much". Then he began to make the permanent crown for my front tooth. He was extremely dirty in that he went from patient to patient to the rep to the machine to my mouth, all without gloves or washing. When he was finished making the temporary bridge over my root canal, and the "permanent" crown for my upper front tooth, he never showed me a mirror which is always customary that the patient see the NEW AND PERFECT work the doctor performed and gets paid for. It was obvious he was trying to hide something. He had been grinding something in my mouth when he was "adjusting" his permanent crown. When I finally begged for a mirror, I was shocked and almost fainted when I saw what he had done. To accommodate his poorly made "permanent" crown made from his high tech machine, he grounded down my perfectly good and straight bottom tooth so that my teeth would close evenly. When I complained and cried, he took me and my husband to a small cubicle and tried to convince me and my husband that what he was doing was correct. I was not buying into that! The BUTCHER OF SANTA MONICA, as my husband now calls him, hammered away at me that the permanent crown he custom made on his newly bought machine would last far longer than a lab made one. He began coining phrases such as "a bulldozer couldn't move that crown" I made for you. And the temporary bridge I made for you will certainly last until the complete bridge is made. He kept telling me what a terrible mouth I had and other not so nice unpleasantries. That night, I was involved in a low speed crash when another car decided to make a u-turn in front of me. On the way to the hospital, BOTH THE PERMANENT TOOTH, AS WELL AS THE TEMPORARY BRIDGE FELL OUT OF MY MOUTH!! My husband received a call the next morning from THE BUTCHERS assistant who advised me that THE BUTCHER doesn't care to have me as his patient any longer. My husband requested our money back advising the assistant that both appliances were faulty and fell out of my mouth and how the BUTCHER OF SANTA MONICA ground my perfectly good tooth to compensate a fake crown when what should have been done was redo the incorrect crown which was hastily made and put in my mouth. The staff refused to refund any money stating that services were rendered. Anyone who goes to this BUTCHER after reading the numerous complaints from this board, the complaints from the California Dental Board, as well as the Los Angeles County Superior Court Cases, especially the most recent and published one, Sandra Hope, plaintiff vs. Bobak Morshed, defendant, deserves to be violated just for being stupid. I have read every court document concerning this unfortunate woman whose life almost ended because of the carelessness and incompetence of THE SANTA MONICA BUTCHER, DR. BOBAK MORSHED

I have been bringing my whole family to see Dr. Bobak Morshed for the past 10 years. All the dental work he has done for us has been excellent and we fully trust him and his office. His staff is very friendly and his office is very efficient. We truely feel like we are receiving the best dental care every time.

Dr. Bobak Morshed is the best dentist. He hs been treating my son ever since he was 6 years old. My son was always very afraid to see dentist before Dr. Morshed. He has always been so nice and he always does great job fixing his teeth. I have recently become Dr. Morshed's patient also and I think he is the best dentist.

Dr. Bobak Morshed is an excellent dentist. I had crooked, yellow teeth for most of my life and was always ashamed to smile. My friend told me about Dr. Bobak Morshed and his office. He had been going to see Dr. Bobak and his parents who are also dentists ever since he was a kid. He highly recommended their office and now I see why. Dr. Bobak did porcelain veneers for me and they look perfect. But they also look natural and not like those fake looking teeth that so many people have. My new veneers also feel like normal teeth. I also had some of my old silver fillings replaced and now my whole mouth looks great. All the doctors and nurses at Dr. Morsheds office are friendly and I always feel like I am getting the best care every time I go there. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Bobak Morshed is an excellent dentist. He did porcelain veneers for me on my front teeth about five years ago and it changed my life. People always comment about how beautiful my teeth look. Bobak Morshed is a terrible dentist. I had the worst experience ever at his office. I had a crown and some fillings done and he hacked up my gums so bad they bled for weeks and never did heal right. The filling teeth are so sensitive to cold and chewing that I haven't been able to eat on that side since he did the work. He ruined my teeth and Ill never go back there again

Dr. Bobak Morshed is a family dentist who sees a large number of children. He is young, friendly and very good with the kids . His office is very nice, clean and his work is excellent.I would highly recommend him as a dentist for the whole family.
