I cannot start to say how much my son loved this camp. It was the highlight of our summer vacation. If we ever return to Texas this will be a class he will have to take. Wonderful every which way. Our son is more the sports type but wanted to try his hand at actting so we enrolled him in the week long camp...when he started with the camp he realized how fun it was. He has since been bitten by the acting bug and wants to pursue acting.

My 2 kids went here last month and had a blast. They did not stop talking about the camp and the fun they had. My son would act out scenes every morning at breakfast time to show us what he was learning. My daughter too who is typically shy and held back would put her two bit in and wanted to stay there "forever". "Can I stay there forever?" She obviously doesn't know the meaning of "forever". My cute little pumpkin.
class size was small so kids had more time with the teacher. End of camp was a delight to watch as the kids performed a short skit. I was amazed at how much they learned in such a short time.
one constructive comment if at all I need to make it is the camps were short duration. we would have liked it to be longer each day or over 2 weeks. maybe we need to go back in Fall??? overall it was a fun time that my kids will remember for a long time. Money well spent.

Great Class and a very positive experience for my daughter and me. We were so pleased with everything. She especially liked the teacher and would come back home feeling very happy and feeling she had learned a lot of new skills. My daughter has since been inspired to pursue acting and wants to be an actress thanks to the positive experience she had here.
We recommend this class to everyone.

My child had a great experience at Drama Kids in Sugar Land. She blossomed in confidence over the months that we were with the program and enjoyed going to class each week. We want to thank the staff who work tirelessly for the kids. They are dedicated and pleasant to deal with. Yes I would recommend this school to any parent.

We would like to respond to the review by Tiger77478 posted on June5th. This comment is biased and maliciously posted and is inappropriate. The facts mentioned do not hold for many reasons: 1. We do not "change the locations" of our classes to acomodate our plays because we have only "ONE" location in Sugar Land. If a class has a low enrollment those children will be requested to join another group so that they can participate in our end of year performances and this is only for the last 2 weeks of the semester. This year only one class had six students enrolled in it who were asked to select any other class during the week so that the kids could be part of the end of year performance. We do it for the kids. Surprisingly from that class, 5 out of 6 of those students re-enrolled for our Fall 2011 semester and the 6th child may still re-enroll. Re-enrolling students are typically "over the top" happy with the program. why else would they re- enroll? Besides this one class with 5 out of 6 very happy parents no other group was requested to move to another class for the last 2 weeks of the semester. 2. Our plays are held in a "state of the art" auditorium in Fort Bend and NOT at some "strange place" as indicated in this inappropriate posting. 3.All our students take part in our plays and all have several speaking lines and are on stage acting, dancing, singing for the whole time. So this dear mis-informed individual is so wrong again. 4. All parents are informed about the plays and the venue for the plays well in advance ( 3 months or 4 months in advance) This person (if they are for real -very doubtful)) may have enrolled for the SPRING semester which is advertised as our PERFORMANCE semester. The year ends with a fabulous play where all the kids have so much fun on a BIG stage. All parents are aware of this. So once again another wrong statement. We do not know where this person TIGER77478 has fabricated their staements from but they are so wrong. Sign up for our classes and see for yourself if this is not the best thing that your child will experience. My child and I did not enjoy the class. At first, my child was excited and happy to go. After just a few classes, she no longer wanted to attend. The teacher spent more time trying to control the children that were misbehaving than actually teaching the class. Also, most of the classes were not to teach the children to act but to participate in one play where she has one line. I was not told that they was a play and that most of the classes were geared to that play. I was also not told that the class times and location would change at the end to accommodate the play. Lastly, the children had to go to a strange place and be left alone for ½ hour. The instructor says parents are not allowed because the children behave differently when the parents are present. I think it is because she does not want the parents to see what really goes on. Communication with the instructor was very poor. Phone calls and emails are not return, she does not do what she says she is going to do and does not clearly communicate up front what will be required. I think the positive reviews are from parents with low standards or written by the instructor.

I so totally loved this camp. Last year my older kid went there for 2 weeks running and had a blast. GREAT place..Parents this is a quality camp. The numbers are small, its reasonably priced and the kids have a blast. We are going back this year. This year my little one too will go to the morning camp. They have 2 back to back camps we have enrolled in both. the kids do a play at the end of camp 2 and all for very little fees. Go Drama Kids we love camps like this.

Both my kids attended their summer camp this year. The classes were fun and what my husband and I were most thrilled about was the value we got out of them. We are going back this Fall. Yes Drama Kids gives the children a true experience for acting and at a price that is affordable. We love Drama Kids.

This program is awesome. My kids loved every minute of it and couldn't wait until the next class. This program works and I highly recommend it to all parents. I wish I had something like this when I was growing up..what a difference it would have made to me. But atleast I know I can offer it to my kids. Thank you Drama Kids you are awesome.
