About Dutch Wonderland Family Entertainment Complex
The Dutch Wonderland amusement park features more than 30 rides, including two kid-friendly coasters and a merry-go-round, and Duke's Lagoon water play area. Wonderland Mini Golf is also available at the complex for an additional fee. While fun for kids of all ages, Dutch Wonderland, voted among the "Top 5 Best Children's Parks" in the world by Amusement Today magazine, is particularly well-suited to those under 12.
Guests can choose from rides that are "Just for Kids" or others that provide "Family Fun" for everyone. Several rides are reserved exclusively for the under 54" set. See the website for a complete list of ride height restrictions.
Duke's Lagoon features a multi-level water play platform, kid-sized slides, a variety of spray nozzles, jets, tipping cones, a spinning water wheel, and a large tipping bucket. There is also a lounge area that includes palm trees, thatched umbrella shaded areas, and plenty of seating. Lockers and changing rooms are available near the Pipeline Plunge and Duke's Lagoon for a nominal fee.
Live shows occur inside the park throughout the day. Performances offer something for everyone and include Thomas & Friends Live at Dutch Wonderland, Beyond the Castle Walls, Bubba Bear and the Badland Band, The Princess of Dutch Wonderland and/or The Dutch Wonderland Knight Storytime Corner, The Adventures of the Frog Prince High Dive Show, Funsation, and Duke's Dance Party. See the website for scheduled show times.
Dutch Wonderland offers many food and beverage options, including snacks like kettle corn, Dippin' Dots, lemonade, soft pretzels, and hot dogs. Health-conscious guests can look for the Royal Chef throughout the park to find healthy menu options. Air conditioned seating and high chairs are available at most of the park's sit-down restaurants, including the Castle Café, Mill Stream Eatery, and the Par 3 Cafe at Wonderland Mini Golf. Bottled water is available at most eateries. A Family Picnic Pavilion is also available near the Dutch Wonderland the parking lot.
Dutch Wonderland birthday parties are available any operating day of the park's regular season (May through December) and are held in a special birthday room. Parties can be hosted by The Princess of Dutch Wonderland, Duke the Dragon, or the Dutch Wonderland Knight. Details are available by calling 1.866.FUNatDW.
Dutch Wonderland offers a variety of admission plans including a single-day and two-day flex, as well as group and twilight rates. See the website for details. Admission tickets and season passes can be purchased in advance online.
Personal strollers may be brought into the park and are also available for a rent at Junction Rentals, near the front entrance of the Park. Nursing mothers may use the Nursing Mothers Stations at the front of the park. Ample free parking is available in the Dutch Wonderland lot.

- We visited Dutch Wonderland last summer with our son and are very much looking forward to visiting again this summer with both our son (age three) and daughter (age one). We really enjoyed the family-friendliness of the place. It's a wonderful way to introduce your child to all the thrills and excitement of rides without them getting too scared because you can with them on just about every ride! Highly recommended!
