Belly up to the peppermint stick colored stools and brace yourself. Dylan's is not your mother's candy store.

The ice cream bar serves amazing custom-designed flavors, the candy selection is mind-boggling, and if you'd rather bathe in chocolate (or faux chocolate), well, you can buy some sweet creations for the home spa here as well.

The store spans two floors - on the street level, you'll find seasonal delights (valentines, Christmas and Hanukkah treats, Easter eggs), and the ice cream bar. Downstairs is the gorgeous party room, some truly awesome delectables we've seen nowhere else (if you need a giant-sized Chupa Chups, this is the place - or a rhinestone-encrusted Pez dispenser).

Party possibilities include Chocolate Decorating, Cookie Decorating, Candy Jewelry Making, or Jeffrey the Bunny Mosaic (think edible paint by numbers). Party price includes room rental, invitations, pizza, juice or soda, cake, ice cream, all candy activities, goody bag filling, supervised instructors, and a Dylan's Candy Bar t-shirt for birthday child. All parties run an hour and a half; prices begin at $995 for the first 10 children ($25 each additional child).

A word about the aforementioned cake: it is designed especially for the birthday child and, if the ones we've seen are any indication, is truly one of the major selling points for having the party here.

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date. Balance is payable on the day of the party with Visa, MasterCard, or cash. Party dates may not be changed within 15 days of reserved date. Reserve well in advance!
