East Falls Glassworks is a glassblowing studio that offers free demonstrations as well as glassblowing classes for students age 16 and over at all levels of experience. East Falls Glassworks also sells glass art, handmade by local artists. Classes and workshops include a two-hour glassblowing experience, a half-day survey (with lunch), four- and eight-week workshops, and three-day master workshops. See website for rates and schedules. Class costs include all necessary materials and supplies.
getting there:
Located in East Falls near the Route 1 bridge over Kelly Drive. Take City Avenue west to Ridge Avenue, left onto Ridge Avenue, then left onto Scotts Lane. Free parking is available.
