Let's be honest: we don't love shopping at Eddy's Bike Shop, because we always feel pressured to buy, and to buy the most expensive option. That said, Eddy's has some very good points that we do like. First, because they're busy, Eddy's knows bikes - and they get a lot in on trade, so the shops generally have a decent selection of used bikes that can be great bargains. All four stores also offer bikes for rent, which is great when you've got out-of-town guests and you want to show them Cleveland on two wheels. Eddy's also is pretty fast when it comes to repairs, even during the uber busy summer months. We like that. And, sales tactics aside, we love Eddy's selection. From bikes to water bottles, Eddy's stocks a serious selection of bikes and gear that will satisfy almost every taste. If you can't get your kids to wear helmets, bring 'em to Eddy's and let 'em pick the coolest helmets in the store. (Just don't complain about the price.) Eddy's selection includes car racks for almost every make and model, plus trailers, bike seats, recumbents, and some of the hottest looking trikes we've ever seen. If your family likes to bike, Eddy's has the gear that will keep you rolling.
