El Dorado Nature Center's 102.5-acre wildlife habitat features two lakes (with ducks a-plenty), a stream, two miles of dirt trail and a 1/4-mile paved access trail wind through meadows and forested areas. If little ones require more stimulation, there is even a mini amusement ride area.

Caboose Corners operates the El Dorado Express - a refurbished antique park train operated as a family ride. The train runs weekends only (admission $2) and is available for parties starting at $300, with a reserved picnic site included.

Adults and children can also visit the interactive, hands-on exhibits available in the museum before walking the trails.
