Elbow Lane's athletic program is matched with the individual camper's interest and skill level, challenging campers to do their best and, building confidence through success. Sports include soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, street hockey gymnastics, tennis, and more. The creative and performing arts program enriches the camp experience, and weekly special events add fresh, creative activities to the daily schedule. "Specials" - daily elective activities that are offered for an hour each day - include skin and scuba diving, figure skating, ice hockey, lacrosse, field hockey, golf, and horseback riding. The 27-acre Elbow Lane facility provides fields, courts, and pools that are adapted to suite the age and ability of the individual camper. The arts and crafts and ceramics programs are housed in large, modern buildings, and the shady 10-acre nature area is home to activities such as pioneering, archery, fishing (in a stocked pond), a climbing tower, and a ropes course. The camp employs a continuing staff of mature adults as well as older college students hired specifically for their ability to teach in a specific program area. The camp season is eight weeks of half- or full-days; five-, six-, and seven-week sessions are also available, with a minimum sign-up of four weeks. Transportation is offered for an additional fee. Camp enrollment is limited in order to assure personal attention to every camper.
