You won't find much of a local touch here. In fact, all
Embassy Suites tend to look alike, which is part of the chain's success. If you're the type who doesn't like surprises, this chain is
as reliable as they come. The in-room kitchen also gives it your family the kind of flexibility that makes sense if you're in town for longer than a weekend. This location's half-mile proximity to
Disneyland, and the staff's kid-friendliness, makes it a favorite of families who are visiting the park.
Along with pleasant
two-room suites and mini-kitchens (sink, microwave), this
Embassy offers a fitness center, arcade for the kids, outdoor pool and hot tub. The lobby is spacious, and features a jungle-themed eating area complete with streams full of koi and towering plants. Disney-bound families (which seem to make up most of this location's clientele) can catch a free shuttle bus to the park daily, from opening to closing.
Cribs, although not roll-away beds, are available upon request. The hotel also offers a laundromat or laundry/valet services and in-room movies, GameBoy, and wireless Internet access for an extra charge.
The hotel's Serengeti Grill offers
lunch and dinner daily, and a
Buca di Beppo restaurant is located just across the parking lot. Red Robin, Joe's Clam Shack, and a Target are located within walking distance. Many area takeout restaurants deliver to all Anaheim-area hotels; you'll find an attraction guide in each suite with menus and phone numbers. The hotel also offers a complimentary full buffet breakfast from 6:30am-9:30am daily, and complimentary hors d'oeuvres and drinks from 5pm-7:30pm every evening.
