Encke Park is a 10-acre, grassy public park with baseball fields that include a dug out, bleachers, an outfield fence, and a water fountain. A chain link fence divides the park and John L. Cappelli driving range. On the side opposite the driving range is a small playground area that includes swings, a climbing area, a sandbox, and benches. A pedestrian bridge connects the park to an off-street parking lot and the Radnor Skatepark. Encke Park backs up to the 2.41-mile, multi-purpose Radnor Trail.
getting there:
Located on Iven Avenue between Sinkler Drive and Creek Drive. From Lancaster Avenue (Route 30), take Radnor-Chester Road, an immediate right onto Sinkler Drive, and then left onto Iven Avenue.
