Engh Gardens isn't just another greenhouse/floral shop. It also offers a Kid's Club, with activities for kids ages two to 12 scheduled April through October. Activities vary, and include things such as egg hunts, storytimes, gardening projects, and costume parades. Parents are asked to attend with young children. For details about the offerings each month, check the "events" portion of the garden's website, or watch our calendar of events. Typically, the club meets in the afterschool hours on Thursdays.

Gardening advice and classes are offered for adults too. Although Engh Gardens has three locations in Utah, only the Sandy store offers the classes and Kid's Club. afterschool hours on Thursdays.

Engh Gardens is a great place to bring the family when shopping for Halloween pumpkins and decorations. Hay bales, a huge selection of reasonably-priced pumpkins and gourds, a hay bale maze, a teepee, and lots of places for photo-ops make the store a popular October destination for many families. Pumpkin prices are pretty steep, but the experience makes it well worth it.

The store almost always has a nice selection of fairy costumes for purchase, or come by around Halloween when a more extensive selection of costumes is available.
