The main Escondido Library has over 20,000 books cataloged, a great children's book selection, and an ongoing selection of children's programs. The library is also known for its vast classic movie collection. The Children's staff at the library prepares story times filled with stories, songs, poetry, Mother Goose rhymes, and crafts to encourage a love of reading and to ensure that books are available to children from birth through sixth grade. getting there:
From I-15, exit on Valley Parkway and head east on towards downtown. West Valley Parkway turns into West Grand. Turn left on 2nd, then right on Kalmia.
