about Evanston Art Center:

Housed in the historic Harley Clarke English Tudor mansion next to the Grosse Point Lighthouse on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Evanston Art Center offers over 90 art classes for children and adults, as well as a variety of art exhibits. Courses include ceramics, drawing and painting, fiber, jewelry, metal sculpture, photography, printmaking and sculpture. The Youth Fine Arts Program offers painting, drawing, photography, jewelry and ceramic classes, designed for children ages five to 17.

Free parking is available. The first floor galleries are handicapped accessible. Hiking is available along the shores of Lake Michigan. The nearby Grosse Point Lighthouse houses a museum and nature center. No food or beverages. Restaurants are one mile away.
