Summer activities on Evergreen Lake include boating (rentals available) and outdoor concerts. Ice skating season is from mid-December to mid-March, weather permitting. The lake is stocked with trout for year-round fishing. A 1.5-mile path circles the lake. Below the dam is a high-altitude garden with several sculptures.
The northwest portion of the lake features bridges and board walks through a wildlife wet lands. Picnic tables with BBQ posts and grassy play areas are located on the northwest side by the parking lot. The beautiful log Evergreen Lake House located on the west end of the lake and is open to the public and available to rent for special events.

getting there:
From C-470, take the Morrison Exit onto Highway 74. Follow 74 through Morrison and 11 miles through the canyon. At the light on Main Street in Evergreen, 74 and 73 split. Bear right at the light to stay on 74. Take the first left onto Upper Bear Creek Road. The next left leads to the Lake House parking lot.
