From the theJunior League on the upper East Side, to Park Avenue Apartments , Marie Chantal clothing events at the Boutique, to the Gramercy Park Hotel. I as a Mom and my daughter , who did not want her Birthday if the Fun, kind , sweet, patient, no matter how long never left a child out and even my dear friend who rememberd him from the Bunny Hop , a huge charity event in NYC, little girl was being shy and Amazing Derrick with is unreal child skills went over to the little girl and made her the happiest girl in the world. Her Mom who works at Vogue is a huge fan!! He is an Artist , filled with color, unbelivable creativity , along with a true Love of his Job!! I could not be happier to have met such a lively, lovely gentleman.

Derrick is a truly exceptional artist and beyond that he has awesome energy and an ability to connect with children and adults!! He did face painting at a family bowling event with over 300 guests which raised money for Pediatrics at NYU Langone Medical Center. I saw people just standing there watching him paint (including myself!). As always, he was a hit!! As soon as he came, the event truly started. I can't wait to see the pictures...his art always makes them shine.

Derrick is a PHENOMENAL artist and face painter. He generously donated his time and services to paint the faces for domestic violence victims and their children this past Sunday at a non-profit's event. He blew me and my colleagues away with his deft artistic handiwork. Derrick literally transformed and brightened our guests' moods as they proudly showed off their newly painted faces with smiles from ear to ear. He is a true talent, and we are so grateful for his generosity!

Derrick is Great!! he came to my daughter's 7th birthday and invaded the room with energy, all the kids were so excited about getting their faces done. His designs are amazing, but the best part is that HE is VERY good at connecting with the kids and knowing what they want. He even face-painted my friend and me!!

Derrick Rocks!!! I saw him at a party 2 years ago and knew I wanted him at my son's b-day party. He is a pleasure to work with, a true professional. Everyone was in awe of his artistic ability and how quick he designs. We had over 200 people and they all raved ....not to mention took his number for their events. I cant wait to use him again!!!

When Derrick and his other artist, Chris, arrived they immediately looked and created the energy needed for 120 people! Yes. 120 people (kids included) were able to enjoy the amazing scribblings that came from he and Chris' mind. All designs were truly unique and left every person feeling like a child at a circus and children astounded at their new appearance. One of the best events that CORE: has seen.

My daughter was desperate for a Pokemon party for her 6th birthday. I have seen Derrick's work many times and asked him to learn some Pokemon faces for our party. Derrick loved the idea of the challenge and the results were incredible. Many parents commented that they were some of the best faces they had ever seen! Derrick is professional and a true artist! I highly recommend him.

Derrick takes face painting to an entirely different level. Having twins that are huge on face painting I can't tell you how many times they've had their faces done. I've never seen anything like what Derrick is capable of doing. He came for their 5th birthday party and wowed everyone! His attention to detail and creativity amazed us. Being a children's photographer I was able to capture these incredible faces and am so glad we found him! Just Awesome.

Derrick arrived early to our holiday party. He was kind to the children and the faces he painted were amazing! We will definitely use him again. He is extremely talented and professional.

Having Derrick at my daugther's party was a total success. I would highly advise anyone to hire Derrick for any major event , because his work is the best.

Derrick was early and professional. He was super friendly to the kids and seemed to love his job. (not one of these jaded people who seem burnt out). His work was awesome and all the parents at the party were very impressed!

I had the wonderful opportunity of hiring Derrick for my sons 2nd Birthday party August 2007. We kept in constant communication throughout the weeks prior to the party and he was very professional and pleasant. On the day of the party, he was right on time, and was so patient with the children. He did a wonderful job on the birthday boy as well as with the other kids. Derrick was definitely the hit of the party! I strongly recommend Derrick for any event. He does beautiful work, he is affordable and you can count on him to make your event memorable and special. The YWCA of the City of New York first heard about Derrick Little through a staff member who had seen him work at another event. Based on what she told us about how talented and creative Derrick is, we knew without a doubt that having him at our Annual Family Day was a must! Prior to the event, Derrick was very pleasant to work with in the booking/planning stage--he is very friendly and stays on top of things efficiently over e-mail and phone. On the day of the event, Derrick arrived early, ready to work and create art. Derrick set-up his materials, all of which were in great condition, and a crowd of kids and families soon lined up to get their faces painted. Derrick worked in a focused manner, paying very careful attention to detail. He created a variety of face paint art, ranging from superheros to butterflies to animals to unique designs and patterns and much more. Derrick's art appealed to all ages and was creative, fun, colorful, and beautiful. We would surely ask Derrick to be a part of another YW event again, and we would highly recommend Derrick to everyone!

We hired Mr. Little to do kids' faces at our wedding. He was friendly, helpful, extremely talented, and professional with everyone, every step of the way. He was there on time, smiling and enthusiastic, and proceeded to do extraordinary and gorgeous work on both children and adults alike. Everyone was thrilled and his art added a most magical touch to our special day. His price was very reasonable too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Derrick is incredibly professional, friendly and reliable and more importantly, his face art is incredible...it is the "high art" version of face painting. The only down side is that the kids may never want to wash their faces again after being transformed by Derrick.
