Designed to integrate the family leisure, fitness, and competitive aspects of aquatic activities, Fairmont Aquatic Center offers both a leisure pool and a lap pool. In the leisure pool, swimmers are entertained with a water slide, current channel, vortex, and interactive water play features. The lap pool offers eight 25-yard lanes for the serious swimmer.

A pool side activity room can be rented out for birthday parties and other events. The basic package costs $70 and includes admission for up to eight individuals, one large single item pizza from Pizza Hut, two two-liters of soda, a t-shirt for the birthday child, and 45 minutes in the party room. Family changing rooms are available in addition to regular men's and women's locker rooms.
