Taking its place among the skyscrapers of downtown Dallas, the upscale Fairmont Hotel is not known as being family-oriented, and typically caters to couples and business travellers - but with downtown activities and events within walking distance, the concierge is happy to accomodate and make family-friendly recommendations. Located in the Arts District, the Fairmont is also close to the West End Historic District, the Financial District, and other cultural activities. Pets under 20 pounds are permitted in the hotel, but must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended in the room.
