About Fairmont Miramar

This former mansion turned hotel is a paradise for families, perched on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A block from the ocean and the Third Street Promenade - the two biggest draws in Santa Monica - the Fairmont Miramar has something to offer almost any price range.

Divided into three sections, the hotel's main building is on the site of the mansion built by the Jones family who founded the city of Santa Monica at the end of the 19th century. The second area, the Tower, is a modern addition overlooking the bay, providing most of the rooms with good to extraordinary views of the water. The third area, the bungalows, is nestled in a garden setting of trees and walking paths, surrounding the pool, croquet green, and sunset fireside viewing area.
