Both of our daughters have attended FTCNS. The teachers are outstanding: nurturing, fun-loving, full of great ideas and engaging activities. It's a great program. OUr kids loved it. Most highly recommended.

Benjamin has benefited in every way as a part of the FTCNS family. He loves the classes, can't wait to share what he's done, and has learned many new things. The teachers are fantastic. The parents are down to earth and talented in their own ways. THE BEST.

My son loves his teachers and his school. Everyday he asks if it is a school day. We were drawn to Families Together for the sense of community and the caring environment. We have all benefitted from the excellence and knowledge and of the staff. We feel very lucky to have found this gem of a preschool in the city.

A real testament to play-based education. At families together,our children have excelled in their social development and have become primed for elementary school. Our family had a real opportunity to become involved in the school community.

We adore this school, the teachers/administrator, and the students & families who attend. The atmosphere is fun and warm/caring. The hours are perfect & the tuition is reasonable. What more can I say? We are so happy to have found this "gem" tucked inside the Edgewater community.

We've been involved in Families Together for four years. Both my daughter and son completed nursery and pre-K here and I've served on the Board for three years. You will not find a better experince if you are looking for a wonderful play-based education experience combined with a TRUE cooperative philosophy. If you want to be a part of your child's school experience, this is a great way to start. The director and teachers are top-noptch and we've met wonderful families who have become great friends.

What a fantastic school. Our daughter couldn't have gotten a better first school experience. The teachers, staff and other families are all wonderful. The school community is very welcoming. We couldn't ask for more and our daughter can't wait to get back there each week!

The school's director (who also teaches there) is absolutely amazing. All the teachers are great -- incredibly patient, skilled, and kind. It is a fabulous place to introduce a young child to "school". Parents are involved and kept informed on a regular basis. It is a caring place with teachers who are sensitive to each child's individual strengths and needs. I am thankful my child's first school experience was with FTCNS. She can't wait to get to school each day and never wants to go home!

This is our first year here and we're most impressed with the school. The director of the school is wonderful. It's obvious to us she's incredibly organized and really cares about the kids and parents at the school. The teachers are excellent as well. They constantly are down on their knees when communicating with the kids. To me, that's a sign of a very good teacher. They, too, are super organized. Everything in the classrooms has it's own place & is well marked. Also, we've really noticed how much our daughter has changed since the start of the school year. She used to not follow directions or listen well. Now she mostly follows directions and her listening skills are MUCH better. We really can't say enough about Families Together. Being part of a co-op has really been great, too. I really enjoy assisting the teachers one day a month in the classroom. It's really a lot of fun to watch my daughter engage in all the activities offered for that day. She gets so excited when she knows I'm going to be in her classroom that day. Interacting with the families at the school has meant creating great relationships. We often get together for playdates. So, the bottom line is that Families Together is a phenomenal preschool. We wouldn't want to send our daughter anywhere else!

We love Families Together. My son graduated from there and went on to excel at Hawthorne (1st grade)and my daughter loves it. Wonderful teachers, great families, fabulous park accross the street and a wonderful early childhood philosophy.

We've put both of our children through Families Together, and it's been a great experience for them and us. A great preparation for grade school for the kids, and a great community of families.

Our son has thrived at Families Together. From the nurturing teachers and involved parents to the creative activities, we could not have found a more perfect place for Max to begin his scholastic life. Such a comfortable, warm environment/community.

A wonderful first learning experience for any child. If you want to be involved in your child's education this is the perfect place.

FTCNS is a wonderful first school experience for children and parents. It is stimulating, nurturing and progressive. In a low maintenance way, parents maintain a thoughtful part of their child's educational experience and get to know an educated group of parents who are community oriented.
