I can't say enough good things about Fantasy Kingdom. My kids never want to leave. They have so much for the children to do that they never get bored and always want to come back. Also, the toys are always organized and cleaned often.

I'm a stay at home dad who love to come to Fantasy Kingdom. The location is up and coming but very easy to get to. Parking is easy, you can bring your own lunch and the staff is great. Just go and enjoy.

As a nanny it is so very important that I have a quality place for the 4 kids I watch to go. I find that Fantasy Kingdon was that quality place. The staff was friendly and the facility (bathrooms included) were very clean.Having 4 kids to supervise I need somewhere that I can keep on eye on all of them without worrying about them escaping.Also, I like to be able to bring my own food to places and they had a fridge there for me to place my food in while the kids played.It made it a stress free day.

It was like being in high school all over again...The moms were very "clique'ish" and so busy chatting that they were not supervising their kids. This is supposed to be a place that we can relax and have fun. However, there is a very uptight feeling in the air and difficult to enjoy the day when you have to listen to people picking others apart. Toys were out of batteries and I didn't appreciate toys being taken to put away when my child wasn't done playing with it. Not to mention, the prices!

Don't let the location throw you. You gotta pass a couple of strip clubs to get to this unassuming industrial location. However, once you park and follow the signs through the building, Fantasy Kingdom is a great place for a party of the under-6 set.

I had my sons first birthday party there, Mark and the staff were great, i was told by the kids and the parents the it was an execellent choice. I know alot of my friends are interested in this place.

I would love to take my daughter here but it would be impossible. Do people take the day off for stuff like this? My husband and I both work full time and I find it so frustrating that places like this aren't even available to my daughter.

I've been to Fantasy Kingdom on three occasions. My daughter really enjoys herself, so from that standpoint, I can't say anything too negative. However, now that the garage charges $5 for parking, unless you can find street parking on a nice day, you're looking at $17 for your little one to play for an hour or two (because let's be real, how long can a toddler or you for that matter handle a place like this?). Especially now that I'm a mom of two, there's no way I can afford this place very often. I would recommend Wonderworks Children's Museum in Oak Park (about 20 minutes West on North Avenue) as an alternative. You can get a one year family membership for $75 and the place is awesome with TONS of toys and activities and it has great birthday parties too.

The people who complain about feeling pressured to keep the place neat should chill out and realize that they are lucky to have a staff that wants to keep the environment clean and neat. I'd hate to see these people's homes who are complaining about tidiness! These must be the same people who bring their kids to Fantasy Kingdom when they have bad colds. Tsk tsk! I love that when you walk into this place, it's organized and clean and cared for. I also appreciate that they make changes when people comment on this site and others. The music is totally kid-centric (and bearable to the adult ear), there was a ladder leading up to slides that was dangerous before but since modified to acccommodate little feet, and there are healthy snacks available. One note: the parking rules have changed and now you must pay $5 to park indoors, otherwise you can find parking outside for free. On inclement days, however, you may have to park indoors since outdoor parking can fill up due to current construction. Keep in mind that it tends to clear out during typical "lunch" and "nap" times, so if your kid is off- schedule, your best bets to go are between 12pm and 3pm.

MY TODDLER LOVES IT. THERE ARE GOOD SLIDES AND LITTLE BIKES TO RIDE TO EXPEL THE ENERGY. THE TOWN AND CASTLE ARE "REAL" LITTLE BUILDINGS...SO CUTE. SHE LIKES TO GROCERY SHOP IN THE STORE AND GO BACK TO THE CASTLE TO PLAY HOUSE. I LIKE FANTASY KINGDOM BECAUSE IT IS SO CLEAN. THEY HAVE SUPPLIES IN CASE YOU RUN OUT (DIAPERS, GOOD SNACKS, WIPES,ETC) AND THE INDOOR PARKING. (THEY BUZZ YOU IN)IT'S ALL AROUND CUTE AND GREAT FOR MY 3 KIDS.

Have tried it twice and once for a party. Although the concept and resources are good, I do not feel comfortable there. The staff are constantly tidying up the place and putting everything back in its place and wet wiping everything. Its great to keep the place tidy and hygenic but when i take the kids somewhere where I am paying a lot of money to get in, I do not want to feel pressured to be neat and tidy and expect my 3 under 5's to keep the place looking like a display model for pottery barn. I think its overpriced. When going to a play centre, I am looking to relax and play with my children without the hassle of cleaning up! I do enough of that at home!

Too many great opinions about this place!!I had my son's 4 year old birthday party at Fantasy Kingdom, and it received HIGH RAVES from myself and the parents who attended. It is a new facility, VERY clean, reasonable prices/rates, and has free indoor parking. The owners are meticulous and attentive to a stress-free party. They also are open during the week for drop- in play.

I had my son's 3rd birthday at FK. Because so many of his friends have sibilings, we had 30 kids ranging from ages of 6 months to 5 years. Everyone had a great time! Including parents, there were about 85 people there. Eveyone commented on how well FK handled the crowd. The facility and toys are immaculate. The kids had a wonderful time. The adults were able to mingle and chat. FK staff helped with the pinata and served pizza and cake with ease. I think it is the BEST place to have a party in Chicago, hands down!!! Thanks FK for an amazing day!

FK Owners were very accomodating and easy to work with in planning and event execution. The site is creative, original and clean and allows numerous children to simultaneously excercise their imaginations and gross motor skills. Especially like the indoor parking attached to the facility.

We had our sons first birthday party here. Our family & friends say it was "the best kids party they'd ever been too"! It couldn't have been better from start to finish. The environment was great for kids & adults. I didn't have to lift a finger for set up & clean up, thanks to the staff. We honestly couldn't have done it without them! I could actually enjoy my child & our guests. We can't say enough good things about our experiences. Those negative comments from others remind me of Debbie Downer from Saturday Night Live!

My 3 year old son has been to 3 birthday parties at Fantasy Kingdom (I guess its the new hip place to be for the preschool set) and cannot wait to go back. The costumes are adorable and the kids have a great time, the firehouse was a particular hit with my son. My 15 month old had a great time in the 'baby area' and it was easy for me to keep an eye on both of them in the room. Great concept - and I love how cleanliness is such a priority.

I can't believe someone would speak badly about this place! It was our first visit, and I gotta tell ya, I'm happy it's a socks only place! It definitely keeps the place much cleaner. After speaking to several moms, and seeing is believing, it's nice to know they're washing the toys throughout the day. It's the only place I'll take my child during the winter months. Keep it up!! You guys are doing a great job!!

The place is not well thought out for children not into fantasy play. With no shoes, children need to climb up three metal rods to go down the slide and there is nothing else for them to climb. There are bikes for children to ride and run into other children. The staff was so obsessed with cleaning that I felt bad every time my child took out a toy. I also thought disco music was a inappropriate choice.

I was recently there for a b-day party with my 4 year old son, and he had a blast. We will definitely be going back.

It was awesome!! My daughter loved it! It's clean, original and all our guests had a blast! Two of our guests actually booked parties there that same day for future dates! We'll definitely be back to play!

Wow, I'm surprised that there were bad reviews. In my opinion, this place was fantastic. I have a 7 month old daughter and she loved it. I have also been to the corner playroom and I was not impressed with that at all, as it was dirty, and there were nannies who weren't watching their children. Kids were grabbing toys right out of my daughter's hand! There were also very few baby friendly toys. Fantasy Kingdom is clean and the baby room is separated from the older children. They have a large bin to put toys babies have put in their mouth so they can be washed. The toys are all new and someone who worked there was monitoring things and putting toys away to keep the place organized. Plus, it's 5 dollars cheaper than The Corner Playroom at only $10 a visit. I will definitely be taking my daughter here all winter long.

The place looked very thrown together, it wasn't a warm environment, there's not a lot of room for play and finding parking was difficult, which is to be expected in that area, but just wasn't worth the trouble.

I guess my impression of this place wasn't top notch. My child and I were not satisfied. We expected more.
