Fifteen structures and
period gardens at
Faust Historical Village give visitors a strong sense of what day-to-day life was like in a small nineteenth-century village. All structures were moved here from their original spots in St. Louis County areas.
Located inside
Faust Park, the village
spans the era between 1840 to 1888. Throughout the year, various demonstrations take place, including blacksmithing, spinning, weaving, natural dyeing, and other antique arts.
Full tours, complete with living history reenactments and viewing of structures' interiors and exteriors, take place the last two weekends in June and July.
Brochures in Information Boxes posted at Village entrances assist with
self-guided tours, which are offered any time Faust Park is open. Complete guided tours and educational programs are available on Thursday or Friday by appointment. Group rate for tours for up to 25 people is $30.
