Here's a tour with all the right bells and whistles. See what the city looks like from the seats of this
shiny, red classic 1955 Mack Fire Engine. Before you jump on board for a 75 minute tour which includes The Presidio, Ft. Point, crossing the golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, and Union Street, you'll be asked to put on a fire jacket to keep you warm and for the great photos you will take at the photo stop at Ft. Baker on the North side of the Bridge. The truck, manned by a husband-and-wife team who live in the century-old SF Victorian Firehouse, will take you from the Cannery (2801 Leavenworth) over the
Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and back. The Old Firehouse also houses a museum and gift shop (open by appointment) and while there you can learn about fire safety and the history of the SFFD. The tour departs from The Cannery at Beach Street, at the foot of Columbus Avenue. Reservations are recommended.
Parties: The fire engine is available for birthday parties. The cost of leaving from any San Francisco location is $ 450 for one hour. To charter the Fire Engine for a private party leaving from The Cannery is $ 450 for the 75 minute tour
