At first glance, Firefly appears to be just another cozy neighborhood cafe...but look closer!

The welcoming locally-owned spots have so much more to offer, including a large and varied menu serving everything from farmer's breakfast platters to panini sandwiches to gourmet pizzas and pasta dinners. There's at least one special dish each day, and lighter fare such as baked goods, soups, and salads. The kids' menu has more than a half dozen options ($3.95-$4.95), all of which come with juice boxes.

The cafe also offers an array of catering services, and menu items can be ordered for take-out.

There's no changing table in the restroom, but families will find plenty of games and books to keep kids occupied - kids can also complete a Firefly coloring sheet and leave it to be posted in the cafe. The cafe also offers free wi-fi internet access.
