On the first Friday of each month, businesses and cultural arts organizations in the towns of Ardmore, Haverford, and Bryn Mawr stay open late and host First Friday Main Line, a celebration of the arts and a regional spotlight for all of the area's talented artists, musicians, and performers.
The free event includes author appearances at book stores, art exhibitions, musical performances, special activities for children and families, and more.
Two free trolleys run in continuous loops through Ardmore, Haverford, and Bryn Mawr along Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) from 5pm to 10pm to transport guests to participating venues; signs posted on Lancaster Avenue and a map featured on the First Friday Main Line website indicate trolley stops.
