Shopping can be a drag, but not at First & Main, a village of shops - many of which are unique independents - in Hudson's historic downtown. Here, we especially like Huggy's Fine Chocolate & Nuts and NickyNicole, located in same block as a Gymboree store.
Other national chains here of special interest to families include Knowledge Points and Cold Stone Creamery. Around the corner from the huge Hudson Library and Historical Society, you'll find a Snip-Its Haircuts for Kids, and one of our favorite bookstores, The Learned Owl, is just up the street.
Your family won't go hungry at First & Main, where restaurant options abound - including Aladdin's Eatery - and, it's right around the corner from one of our favorite family dining spots, Yours Truly.
