One of the best known specialty shops in Larchmont Village, Flicka is full of temptingly beautiful clothes for infants and children.

One of the most helpful aspects of the store: Flicka has set up a comfortable corner where children can play while their parents shop, with toys, books and costumes, and a gate!

Be prepared for some high prices; these clothes are well-made, often in Europe, with high quality fabrics, and many of them need to be DRY-CLEANED! It's a good store to send a doting grandmother who wants to shop, or a place to go for a baby gift for a special friend. The sales staff will wrap gifts, for free, in a distinctive Flicka brown box with raffia wrap.

You can find some good bargains, especially during sale weeks, and Flicka has a great selection of Flapdoodles' T-shirts, leggings, and pajamas, too, that are reasonably priced.

The store carries some costumes, mostly of the fairy-princess variety, and at Hallowe'en it stocks a special section with a wonderful selection.
