Flicks Movie Theatre is an old art house-style movie theater that screens a lot of independent films. Flicks also houses a video store and a cafe, but don't expect to find overpriced theater food at the cafe. Sure popcorn and candy are available, but why choose those when the menu is chock full of items such as chicken breast and brie sandwiches, burgers, lasagna, panini sandwiches, soup (served with French bread), a variety of salads and homemade dressings, hummus and pita platters, truffles, creme brulee, espresso drinks, beer, smoothies, and wine? Food and beverage prices are quite reasonable.
Families are welcome, but this is also a great theater for a date night or a girls' night out.
