The Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra (FYSO) trains talented musicians from third grade through their second year of college. Performers are selected by audition, study with a private teacher, and meet each week for orchestra rehearsals from August through May.
Every year, the four orchestras perform throughout Central Florida from October through May.
For children interested in joining the orchestras, the FYSO holds auditions each year to fill the limited number of available seats. An application and general audition information is available on their website.
