Founded by local swing dancers Rob and Dawn Shrewsbury, Flyin' Footwork Productions provides swing dance events and lessons to dancers of all ages and levels in the Central Florida area at the Whirl and Twirl Dance Club. Classes: Instructors teach dances in Basic Swing, Lindy Hop (otherwise known as the Jitterbug), Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Charleston, and more. Register in advance; classes fill up quickly. Private lessons are also available. Beginners can get started with the 2nd & 4th Saturday Swing Dances. The dance features a free beginner swing dance class (8pm-9pm) that covers all the essentials from footwork to lead/follow. All ages are welcome.
