about Ford Field:

Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions professional football team and a top entertainment venue in the city. Other sporting events, concerts, home and garden shows, and special events are held here.

Ford Field tours: Public tours of Ford Field include a trip into the NFL locker rooms, a walk through the tunnel that leads to the field, and time on the turf. The one-hour tours are offered twice daily, Mon-Fri, at 11am and 1pm. Adults $7; Children and Seniors $5; Children under 5 free.

Ford Field has a Family Fun Zone, located in the upper level sections 337-340, where no alcohol or profanity is allowed.

Cool fact: In the 1940s and 1950s, the area in which Ford Field now sits was known as Paradise Valley, a hip entertainment district with many blues and jazz clubs. Musicians that played in the area include Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, and Billie Holiday.
