About Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge

The Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge is a wilderness full of forests, prairies, and wetlands with more than 20 miles of easy-access hiking trails.

Many events take place throughout the year including tour-led hikes, canoe rides, bison-feeding hayrides, and storytimes for preschoolers. Day camps are offered during spring and summer breaks for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade.
