about Four Mile Historic Park:

Four Mile Historic Park is a 12-acre Denver park which and home to Denver's oldest house, Four Mile House, a Denver Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1859, Four Mile House once served as a stage stop, wayside inn, and tavern for travelers on the Cherokee Trail on their way to Denver City.

Four Mile Historic Park offers a wide range of programs that include school/youth programs, heritage and special events, guided museum and grounds tours, summer day camp, children's birthday parties, wagon and stagecoach rides (Sat-Sun $1-$2), and site rentals for special occasions. The park is dedicated to presenting programs that celebrate the diversity of the men, women, and children who lived and worked in the west.

getting there:

From Colorado Boulevard head east on Cherry Creek Drive South, go north on Cherry street, then east onto Exposition. Drive about two blocks and turn right into parking lot off of Exposition.
