Four Mile Historic Park is a 12-acre Denver park which and home to Denver's oldest house, Four Mile House, a Denver Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1859, Four Mile House once served as a stage stop, wayside inn, and tavern for travelers on the Cherokee Trail on their way to Denver City.
Four Mile Historic Park offers a wide range of programs that include school/youth programs, heritage and special events, guided museum and grounds tours, summer day camp, children's birthday parties, wagon and stagecoach rides (Sat-Sun $1-$2), and site rentals for special occasions. The park is dedicated to presenting programs that celebrate the diversity of the men, women, and children who lived and worked in the west.
