About Fox Theatre

A gloriously restored historic theater in Detroit's hopping entertainment district, the Fox Theatre hosts some of the larger acts coming to Detroit. A gorgeous interior and intimate charm makes for unforgettable experiences.

Cool fact: Attendees to the Fox's grand opening day in the year 1928 were delighted with what was billed as a "Temple of Amusement." The second-largest theater in the world at the time, its lobby was a half a block long and six stories high.

Group tours are offered.

Getting There

Located on the west side of Woodward, just north of Adams, across from Comerica Park. Parking is located between Woodward Avenue and Park, just south of I-75 (Fisher Freeway). Entrances are on the Fisher Freeway Service Drive and Montcalm.
