about Frances Howard Goldwyn Hollywood Branch Library:

Designed by internationally famous architect Frank O.Gehry, the Frances Howard Goldwyn Hollywood Regional Branch Library has an extensive entertainment industry collection.

The branch represents Hollywood's history with features like an archive of Hollywood Christmas Parade material from 1928 to the present, over 2000 theatre and dance programs and playbills, and 2500 unpublished television and film scripts. The library was renovated in 2005 to include an expanded storytelling area for children and families.

The Grandparents and Books program is available Tuesday afternoons.

Story Hour is held on Saturday mornings; call for details. Auntie Lily reads stories every Tuesday afternoon, from 3pm to 5pm.

Internet classes are held at various times, and free online tutoring is available in math, science, social studies, and English for students in grades four through 12; call for details or visit the website.

The branch is fully handicapped accessible.

The branch is between Selma and Hollywood. Parking: on the street or two hours free validated parking at Hollywood Autopark, 1623 N. Vine Street (prepayment of $8 is required).
