Children and adults can appreciate
Franklin Park Conservatory's original Victorian glass house, built in 1985, which provides 73,000 square feet of greenhouses and classrooms situated in a 90-acre urban park, just minutes from downtown Columbus.
The Conservatory features unique botanical collections, gardens, waterfalls, and educational programs designed to foster life-long learning and an appreciation of plants.
The Conservatory's
summer programs provide kids with hands-on experience in science and the arts. Half-day sessions are available for preschool-age children and kindergarteners; half-day or full-day options are available for 1st-8th graders, and extended care options are available for campers, too.
Several areas of the conservatory can be rented for special occasions; see the
website for information.
