At 310 acres, Fred G. Bond Metro Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Wake County. Picnic areas, athletic fields, walking trails, the Lazy Daze Playground and the Sertoma Amphitheatre are a few of the park's highlights. In addition, the park offers low-ropes and high-ropes challenge courses available for guided team-building exercises for groups of eight or more.

Bond Lake and Bond Park Boathouse are open seasonally and offer rentals of sailboats, pedal boats, kayaks, and row boats at rates of $5-$10 per hour.

Both the Cary Senior Center and the Bond Park Community Center are located in Bond Park and host a variety of children's programs throughout the year including an annual Daddy-Daughter Dance and summer camps for children and teens.
