Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater (aka "The Fred") began as a community project to celebrate America's Bicentennial in 1976. Two summer concert series are the anchors of The Fred's performance schedule, but it also plays host to community and special events. The venue seats 2,200 and food can be ordered directly from its website to be delivered at a concert.
getting there:
Take Interstate 85 South to exit 61 (Fairburn/Peachtree City exit). Turn left on Highway 74 and travel south to Peachtree City, approximately 11 miles. Turn left on Kelly Drive. After crossing a small bridge over Lake Peachtree, the entrance to the Amphitheater will be the second street to your right.
