Looking for free July 4th events in your community? We've got listings for Independence Day celebrations and fireworks shows happening all over the greater Houston area.

The City of Houston's official July 4th celebration, Freedom Over Texas, takes place at Tinsley Park in downtown Houston.

The Houston Symphony performs patriotic favorites at Miller Outdoor Theatre, followed by a fireworks spectacular, on July 4. The Symphony also presents a free star-spangled concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Friday, July 3.

Families can enjoy special Independence Day activities during the daytime at the Children's Museum and Bayou Bend near Memorial Park.

Make a weekend of it on the island! Galveston hosts a downtown parade on Saturday, July 3 and fireworks from the Seawall on July 4.

The Woodlands hosts both a parade on Saturday morning, July 3 and the Red, Hot, and Blue Festival in the evening on July 4.

LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch in Katy invites families to enjoy live music, clowns, and fireworks.

The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra presents Freedom Rings, a free concert full of patriotic favorites at the Stafford Centre.

Celebrations and fireworks are also happening in Kemah; in Friendswood; in Pearland; in Sugar Land; and in Baytown.
