The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the Best Family-Friendly Restaurant in Duke City, the Frontier is much more than a college hang-out. It's an Albuquerque icon. The menu includes everything from basic burgers to New Mexican and breakfast favorites. We love the giant cinnamon rolls swimming in butter, fresh tortillas, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Weekend brunch at the Frontier has become a regular family outing. The lines are long, but the service is quick and efficient. There are plenty of kid-friendly items on the menu, and high chairs are available. Dishes are ordered and picked up at the counter, so eating alone with a small child could be a bit of a challenge.
