Some of us are old enough to say we played at Fun'n'Stuff before we had kids. No matter - it's still full of fun stuff to do, and of course, there's more to do now than when we were still kids ourselves.
Fun'n'Stuff is open year round, but Go Karts (both "Grand Prix" and "Rookie" versions), Water Bumper Boats, Batting Cages and Inflatables are seasonal, outdoor-only attractions.
Indoors, kids age two and up can bounce and climb through Kid's World, a ball pit with connecting tubes and slides, plus two bounce houses. Ringing the perimeter of Kid's World are other activities (a Lego table, train table, basketball hoop...). A plus: Kids World is situated so that parents can supervise little ones while older kids skate - within sight of mom and dad.
As an antidote to cabin fever, we like hangin' at The Rock (climbing wall), bouncing off the walls in a game of LaserTron laser tag, and roller skating (additional charges apply for skate rental).
If your kids want to learn to skate, and you never did, don't worry - at Fun'N'Stuff parents are permitted to walk alongside their children as they learn to skate. (No need for anyone to feel embarrassed - lots of families teach their kids to skate that way!)
Also inside - a very large, very loud collection of Video Games - both new and old (tokens cost .25/each, and most games require three tokens to play). A well-maintained miniature golf course with cool obstacles is also inside; during the warmer months, a miniature golf course is open outdoors, too.
To save a few bucks, check Fun'N'Stuff's website before you leave home; coupons are usually available there.
Party plans range from a "Fun Party" for $12.95 per person (minimum 10 people) to a "Gross & Slimy Party ($189 for ten guests; additional children $10 each, up to 15 maximum) and a "Fear Factor Party," which, for $209 for the first ten kids, is held in a private party room and comes with a session of laser tag for each child, plus pizza, pop, cake, "fear factor" games, and 20 video tokens and unlimited mini golf for each child.
