Funcamps offers five summer camp programs for children. JurassiCamp teaches kids about fossils, dinosaurs and paleontology through hands-on experiences that include digging for fossils, making fossils and plaster footprint molds, and building a life size six-foot dinosaur. Each day children receive a real fossil to keep, and they receive a fossil kit with tools for cleaning fossils out of stone or sand. Field trips, movies, and guest speakers related to the subject matter and Jurassic Swimming round out the experience. MagiCamp teaches kids the secrets of magic tricks, with activities including magic, juggling, making animal balloons, swimming, drama, arts & crafts, field trips, and sports. Each child's tuition includes a MagiCamp tote containing a t-shirt and a slew of magic tricks. Space and Rocket Camp teaches campers about outer space, the planets, gravity, and astronaut training. Children visit a planetarium, make rockets, play virtual reality space games, and listen to presentations by guest speakers. Campers receive a Space Kit that includes meteorite fragments, a telescope, a galaxy globe, space related puzzles, a t-shirt, and dehydrated astronaut food. Campers also have daily swim and sport time. This camp is limited to kids ages six to 12. Kids attending Amazing Science Camp participate in hands-on experiments - like making snow, slime, solar panels, prisms, and glow sticks - to learn about the wonders of science. Each day the campers receive related materials to take home. Also all campers can participate in swimming, filed activities, guest speakers, entertainers field trips and more to round out their scientific days. FunCamps newest program, Camp Idol, is a performing arts camp where kids can participate in theater, arts and crafts, dance, music, improv, swimming, and more. The program has a non-competitive orientation to ensure that every kid walks away feeling like a star. Camp can be attended in four- or two-week blocks. Tuition includes, field trips, kits, and all supplies. A discount is offered for six weeks, and siblings receive a discount. Camp hours are 9:30am-3:30pm. Doors open one half-hour before and close one half-hour after designated hours. Before care is offered from 7:45-9:30am, and after care from 3:30pm-5:30pm.
