About Game Night Games
Game Night Games is a locally owned and operated store, carrying a unique collection of board games, card games, and puzzles. Don't expect to see the same old games you'd find at Toys R Us; Game Night Games specializes in games from around the world, including many European and family strategy games. Most games sold at the store can be played in one hour or less, making them perfect for a game night at home. Another nice feature of the games - they emphasize decision making over randomness, making players really use their brainpower to solve problems and develop strategies. Most games in the store appeal to ages 12 and up, but there is a nice selection of games for children ages four and up as well.
Besides being a great place to build your personal game collection, Game Night Games is also a perfect place to play (and learn to play) games. In-store game nights happen Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Wednesday game nights are free. The Friday and Saturday game nights have a $3 cover charge. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. These gaming opportunities are geared toward adults and children ages 11 and up.
Once a month, on a Saturday, Game Night Games offers a free Kids Club gaming day. Kids (ages five and up) and their parents can try out kid-friendly games; instructors are available. Space is limited; call for reservations. Check the calendar for dates.

- Wonderful place to hang out! Very family friendly. It's one fo the most unique places I've ever seen in that respect. Great selection of games. If a game is not there, it is really easy to get help tracking it down and ordered. If you don't know how to play a game, there are plenty people there, both staff and regulars, who are willing to teach. The regulars are an older crowd, not teenagers looking to play RPGs. Weekend nights will often see small groups of University students. Great place for a different kind of date night and way cheaper than the movies too!

On top of that, the staff knows more about board games than just about anybody I've met (great help if you are choosing presents). The open gaming at the store is a great way to learn new games. Kids' Club on one Saturday a month is also very family-friendly.
