About Gateway Arch Riverfront
Rides on steamboats - charming replicas of their nineteenth century forebearers - are a main draw at the Gateway Arch Riverfront, as is the Gateway Arch. Cruises of many varieties can be booked on the boats, including dinner, sightseeing, or those that cater to city events, such as Oktoberfest or July Fourth fireworks.
Kids get a real charge out of the nifty four-seater quadcycles that meander up and down the riverfront paths - they're perfect for families. These and traditional bikes are available for rent at the Grand Staircase of the arch. Helmets and a trail map are included with every rental.
Along with the Museum of Westward Expansion, both the Tucker Theater and the Odyssey Theatre can also be found here. Daily showings of Monument to the Dream, an award-winning documentary about the construction of the Gateway Arch, can be seen at the Tucker; the Odyssey showscases IMAX films on its giant four-story screen.
