The Gene Fullmer Fitness and Recreation Center is one of the recreation facilities built with funds from the ZAP tax, which voters approved in 1997. The facility boasts indoor lap and play pools, an outdoor leisure pool, a running track, a full-size gymnasium, an aerobics area, a fitness room, and drop-in childcare. Youth and adult sports and recreation programs are offered, such as classes and programs in fitness, aerobics, dance, karate, swimming, tumbling, arts & crafts, cheer, softball, junior golf, soccer, t-ball, tennis, track & field, and Junior Jazz Basketball.
