Gershwin Theatre050

in New York, NY 10019

about Gershwin Theatre:

The Gershwin is another theatre on the gargantuan scale; it seats over 1,900 and takes up six stories of the building. It is wheelchair accessible, but the aisles are steep, and most theatre-goers use the escalator up to the auditorium.

On the plus side, the theatre is quite comfortable; even the balcony seats have a decent share of knee space (if you've been in some other NY theatres, you know what we mean!).

Views of the stage are fairly good from every vantage point.

tips:

Looking for extra leg room? (Or a seat without a big grownup head directly in front?) Try orchestra row Q, to the left or right as you face the stage (seats 2-36 or 1-35)!

getting there:

West of Broadway. Enter theatre through alley.
